There is a moment in childhood when the world inside us feels larger than the one we are told is real. The boy who looks out of the classroom window is not escaping — he is listening. Listening to something distant, something unnamed, something that feels like it belongs to him even before he has seen it.
‘Up and Beyond’ speaks about that fragile but powerful knowing — the feeling that there is always something more than what is visible, something waiting above, ahead, or just beyond the edges of what we are told is possible.
